Travis Henry Arrested

Another idiot from the NFL has been arrested. This time the honor goes to Travis Henry.

Henry was arrested with an acquaintance earlier in the week in connection with an alleged cocaine deal.

Henry was released by the Denver Broncos in June after playing for the Broncos for only one season. His deal was for five years and roughly $22 million and he signed it before the 2007 season.

In his one season in Denver Henry rushed for 691 yards on 167 carries with four touchdowns.

Henry is just one of many NFL players to be arrested over the past three seasons due to drug deals, alcohol problems, domestic disputes and possession of firearms.

In other bad news for the NFL:

Earlier this season Jacksonville Jaguars lineman Richard Collier was shot several times while sitting in his car waiting for two female friends to exit their apartment complex in Florida.

Collier is now paralyzed from the waist down and had one of his legs amputated. He was shot 14 times and police feel he was the intended target of the attack.

Sean Taylor was fatally wounded when a robbery of his home went wrong. He decided to defend his home and family and was fatally shot. He died days later.

The league has had to deal with bad PR after bad PR year after year with their players.
