Knicks Make Two Trades

Published by hcbb10 at 8:06 pm under NBA Edit This

The New York Knicks announced on Friday that they had made two separate, unrelated trades.

The first trade announced sends forward Jamal Crawford to Golden State for Al Harrington.

The second trade announced on Friday sends Zach Randolph and his large contract to the Los Angeles Clippers for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley.

The Knicks also sent Mardy Collins to the Clippers in the final trade of the day.

The Knicks were able to shed the money off of Randolph’s contract and all three players acquired today will be free agents during the summer of 2010, which is the most highly touted free agent summer in years.

Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh will all be free agents that summer. The Knicks will have plenty of money to spend with Randolph’s contract gone.
