Pro Bowl Selections Announced
The NFL Pro Bowl selections were announced on Tuesday and for the first time in the history of the league there will be two brothers at quarterback for the same all-star game.
The team with the most selections was the New York Jets who came in with seven. The seven selections are the most in the team’s 49 year history.
Brett Favre will be making his 10th appearance but his first as an AFC player.
There are four teams that have no Pro Bowlers in this year’s game. They are the Rams, Lions, Bengals and Jaguars.
The Colts’ Peyton Manning will be making his ninth appearance in 11 seasons and will be opposed by his brother and the Giants’ Eli Manning. This is Eli’s first appearance.
The Giants will also send the oldest Pro Bowl player ever, place kicker John Carney, who is 44 years old.
